Sustainability Communication Workshop to Be Held Sept. 29

The U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance will be working with Colorado Corn on an workshop that will be held at CSU’s CoBank Center for Ag Education on September 29th. Members of the ag industry who are interested in gaining tools and takeaways on how to communicate message of sustainability in agriculture are encouraged to attend. Colorado Corn Communications Director Eric Brown shares more details
Brown: “Sustainability is a buzz word whether it is media or the general public. It seems like everything that is going on in the agricultural world and just in general sustainability is a buzz word that everybody comes back to. This will be a discussion on what does that look like. What are the things that agriculture is doing in terms of incredible work when it comes to sustainability. But how does the general public know that? So it is going to be a lot of information about what agriculture is doing but also how to get the word out. What are the best ways to get that out to the general public and media to let them know what we are doing. This is open just anyone who works in the ag industry who wants to help telling the great story that agriculture has to tell.”
It is a free event and will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 29th. Brown continues with details how to RSVP.
Brown: “The RSVP date — lunch will be provided so to get good head count in advance — we are asking people to contact our office by Wednesday, September 21st.
