US Apple Promotion

US Apple President & CEO, Jim Blair has announced the promotion of Diane Kurrle to Senior Vice President.

BLAIR: Well promoting Diane to Senior Vice President accomplishes several important objectives. Number one, it recognizes her for her outstanding performance. She just deserves it. Number two, it signals to the industry just how valuable she is to the success of their association and number three, we think it adds clarity to the understanding of her role here. Her previous title was a bit of a misnomer since she wasn't conducting a program of public affairs in the usual sense so this should help fix that.

Kurrle has been with US Apple over 10 years and Blair says that in addition to clarifying her title, her plate may get a bit fuller.

BLAIR: She;s till going to be working hard on things like immigration reform and o forth so she's going to keep doing that. So I would say I'm just making her plate larger and putting some more things on her plate and that will be some new programs and services we're still trying to identify but we want the rank and file growers out there to know that we're pushing hard and we're trying to identify new opportunities since immigration reform is is pretty tough sledding, we're going to look for ways to really leverage Diane's unique skill set and look for new opportunities that will bring more value to the US Apple membership.
