slippery duck boot dilemma

How many of you avid water fowlers have been in these shoes before? You know, when you are wadding across a stream to fetch decoys or helping your dog find a downed bird on the far side of the bank and your warm duck hunting waders struggle to give you any traction on the slippery rock under the freezing water due to the hard rubber sole. Every time you have to wade in the water it's a gamble. Felt boots work great but often times it's just not warm enough and risk numbness in your toes. I was shopping for a birthday gift at Sportsman's warehouse and came across this product that solves this slippery duck boot dilemma. According to Streamtrekkers.com

The patented Diamond Bead design has hundreds of biting edges that grip in all directions for sure traction on rock, moss and slime. The beads are made of case-hardened steel alloy, strung on extremely durable steel aircraft cable. The tough rubber outer band adapts to all types of footwear and provides a secure fit. STREAM trekkers can be worn over rubber and felt-soled fishing shoes, as well as wading boots.
