Talked withJohn Ingelstrom at the Gift Bar at Sportsmen's Warehouse about flashlights. "The most popular flashlights that I am selling right now are the Fenix and it is either the EU 35 or the PD 35. They have five different settings. To turn it on on the bottom is an on/off switch and then there is a secondary switch to change through all five modes and then it goes all the way up to 960 lumens. They are the exact same light. The only difference is that one is rechargeable and comes with the USB port and the other one you have to use the CR 123's. What about the five different settings? High, medium, low. Five different brightness settings. It goes all the way up to 960 lm. You don't have to have it on the 960 lm blind a deer type setting all the time. You can tone it down. If you have it on the 960 setting, it burns through the battery in about one hour. If you had it on the 10 lumens, which would basically be if you have to get up and go to the bathroom, that will last about 30 to 40 hours. Under what circumstances would you use the highest number of lumens? Guys who are ranchers who are trying to find a coyote who is eating their chickens or cows.

John told me these flashlights can also be set on any gun with a mount for tactical training or home defense.
