I called Sportsman's Warehouse sales associate, Kelly Saleen to talk tackle and fish. "What are the most popular baits that you sell and why? We have Yamamoto Senko, Yum, Zoom, Rapala plugs, all kinds of baits that are specific for certain types of fish. For example, the Rapalas are designed for trout and bass, plastic baits are specifically for bass, there is obviously an assortment of flies, wet and dry, that is a big part of our market as well. Honestly, when I think about the Northwest, bass fishing doesn't come to mind. It is a very big thing here. There are lakes and ponds and rivers and their is best in just about everyone except way high elevations where the water is too cold. I know there are bass in the Snake River. Oh lots of them. Thousands and thousands of them. They have reservoirs off the Snake and the reservoirs basically are a lake. We have both largemouth and smallmouth bass. There are tons of varieties of fish to go fishing for.
