Chugga and Chukka

Chugga and Chukka. Good friend Chugga Stevens is just an avid hunter. "I went down and hunted some Chukers this morning. The first day I went was last Saturday and I have been going almost every day since. I get a bird or two per time, normally. There are a tremendous amount of birds this year. Certainly more than I've seen in my years of hunting here. How do you get them up in the air, with a dog? I do. I have a hunting dog mix. It's a it's a mutt. There's some wire hair, short hair, lab and him and he works hard and finds Chukers. These birds don't hold all that well, they are running, he will point but it isn't as easy as just sending them in the flush them either. You have to chase and stay right on top of them in order to get a shot. Do you use a 20gauge? No I use a 12gauge but my son uses a 20 because it's not as heavy to carry around. Okay once you get your Chukers, do you eat what you are best? Absolutely. My wife is Italian and we cook them up with a nice Italian recipe.
