I ran into Dirk Durham at a local sportsman show recently and he told me about a must read for elk hunters. Extreme Elk, the magazine, tell me how you are doing. It is going great and has exceeded our expectations. We set a five year goal when we began. We are starting our third year and we have just crushed our five year goal. There are lots of outdoor magazines but yours is devoted entirely to elk. Comment on the reasons for your success. We love the Eastman's magazines, for example, but I always wanted more elk hunting in them. So we thought, why not have an all elk hunting magazine. We began with our elk 101.com interactive website with lots of feature articles on elk hunting tips and tactics. That grew a lot. We started our online store and we thought, you know what, this would be a great platform to have a magazine and we went from there. I'm sure as an elk hunter you have an opinion about wolves. Yes, wolves are a very hot topic in the Northwest, particularly in Idaho, and I think we're on the right track since the federal government is allowing the states to manage wolves as a big game species.
