I talked with sportsman's warehouse associate Joe Moen about the upcoming waterfowl season. "There's a bunch of different ways you can go. Seems like the most popular is semi-auto, multiple birds. Semi auto will be quicker. Some guys start out with pumps which I know some guys who can rattle a pump off really quick. Either way, semi-auto or pump, and then the loads. A lot of guys are shooting three or 3 1/2 for geese and then 2 3/4 to 3 for ducks. If you were going to buy a shotgun for multiple use what would you recommend? I'm a fan of 2. One is a gas operated system and the other is inertia. Inertia driven is going to be the Benelli Super Vinci or if you like the gas system I would go with the Beretta A400 Extreme, both 3 1/2 inch. What about the price? Around $1650 for both. When does waterfowl season begin in Washington? Duck season, statewide, October 12 through the 16th than October 19 through January 26. Keith October 12 through January 26.
