Emily's future plans include earning her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and a Master's Degree in Agricultural Education. She was selected this last spring to represent the beef industry in the state. She shares more about her activities so far
Dulany: “I was selected in March and since then I’ve been teaching and educating consumers all about beef — whether that be children who in school or adults or consumers around the state. I will be headed to the national competition in a few months.”
Dulany shares the highlight for her in the role as Oregon’s Beef Ambassador
Dulany: “Having the opportunities to speak to consumers and to teach them about the beef industry and where their food comes from. That has probably been my favorite part — teaching a variety of people.”
