Millennial Mom

Millennial Mom

I’m KayDee Gilkey and welcome to Open Range. Here’s Greg with today’s report.

Thanks KayDee. Todays AgriBeef Minute takes a look at the millenial mom, those moms born between the early 80’s and the early 2000s. Bridget Coon, who writes the RanchWifeLife.com blog, is one of those millenial moms.

COON: I do my best to reach out to those millenial moms as one myself and sharing similar experiences so what’s a blog without a little bit of fun and humor and a twist so I was able to share a story about how we’re weaning some fall calves through the practice of fence line weaning and some of the advantages of that. And I also happened to of needed to wean my one-year old recently. (laughs)

If you think about it there are a great deal of similarities although I’m not sure the fence line method would work on the one hand. Coon says her blog is targeted at the millenial moms and not the dads.

COON: In the beginning of the post I put a warning disclaimer out there that anyone who wanted to skip it, particularly males who were uncomfortable with the subject could do so by skipping the first paragraph.

The blog RanchWifeLife.com looks at all the things that a young ranching couple experience on the farm and yes, it is entertaining for guys as well.

I’m Greg Martin and that’s today’s AgriBeef Minute.

Thanks Greg. Don’t forget Greg will be back each Wednesday with the AgriBeef Minute. Agri Beef Co - Real Families, Great People, Exceptional Beef. I’m KayDee Gilkey.
