Agribusiness Academy & New USCA Officers

Agribusiness Academy & New USCA Officers plus Choosing Programs. I'm Greg Martin with today's Northwest Report.

The United States Cattlemen's Association recently elected new regional directors for several regions including Region I which covers Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Hawaii. Kent Wright a cattle rancher from St. John, Washington was elected for the position during USCA's annual Board of Directors and general membership meeting.

Far West Agribusiness Association is offering their members a chance to learn more about how to maximize potential in the workplace and beyond. Far West's, Jim Fitzgerald talks about their 3rd Annual Agribusiness Academy.

FITZGERALD: Really what the Academy does again is covers leadership skills. Answers some of the questions that owners and general managers may want to know about people who they're delegated authority to within their business and what's going to make employees gravitate toward them. What's going to make them follow the priorities of the company when they're out of sight, out of mind out in the field.
