This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for Tuesday, Sept 20th. Soy beans still leading the grain market, producers keeping an eye some key levels as well as the 50 day moving average. Let's go to Oliver Sloup with II Trader from the floor of the CME in Chicago, to hear more on the grains.

Sloup "From the floor of the CME here in Chicago with II Trader and your grain market update. Kind of a mixed bag across the board, corn, soybeans, wheat kind of all trading on their own here in the early morning session. Let's start looking at that corn contract, December continues to be the month of interest. Here in the near term a couple key technical levels to keep a very close eye on. 3-31 ½, 20 day moving average on the bottom side if we manage to hold above that, that could mark higher lows."

Chicago March Wheat prices closed yesterday dn ¼, at 426. March corn ended the day up ¼, at 347 ½. Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Dec. ended the day up ¾ - 9, ranging from 4-74 to 5 even. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Dec. were dn ¾, ranging from 5-01 ½ to 5-26 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. was dn ¼, ranging from 5-87 ½ to 6-12 ½. Feb. Live Cattle were dn 47 ½ cents, to finish the day at 107.72 ½. Nov. Feeder cattle were dn 90 cents, to close the day at 129.75. Nov. class III milk was Dn 26 cents at 15-98.
