This is Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for, Aug 23th. Good futures in the cattle market, producers and buyers both keeping an eye on some key pivotal points. Here's Jack Scoville to explain more from the floor of the CME group in Chicago. Scoville ""Chicago Sept. Wheat prices closed yesterday dn 11 3/4, at 414 ¾. Sept. corn ended the day dn 1, at 334.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for Aug. ended the day dn 10.00 to 2.00, ranging from 4-95 to 5-05. Club Wheat for August was dn 10.00 to unch at 4.95 to 5.15. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Aug. were dn 5.00, ranging from 4-93 to 5-23. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. were up 1 1/4, ranging from 6-17 to 6-32.

Aug Live Cattle were dn $.12 ½ to finish the day at 113.20. Aug Feeder cattle were up $.95 to close the day at 147.00. Aug. class III milk was up .01 cents at 16-96.
