This is Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for April 27th. Cattle following the trends as they slowly climb back up the ladder. Here's Gary Kozlowski with Farr Financial from the floor of the CME in Chicago.Kozlowski " Cattle, we saw that the production is up. We also saw cattle on a nice slow steady trend up the last couple of days. We are looking for the live cattle to break that 1.20 probably by Wednesday." Chicago May Wheat prices were up 8 ½ yesterday, at 478 ½. May corn ended the day up 5 ¼, at 382 ¼. Portland prices for soft white wheat of 10 ½ % protein for May were up 13 ½ -unch, ranging from 5-44 ¾ to 5-75. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for April up 3 ¾, at 5-51 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were up 6 ¼, ranging from 6-24 to 6-44. April Live Cattle closed Monday up $1.25 at 126.90. April Feeder cattle were up 55 cents, at 145.87 ½. April class III milk was dn a penny at, 13-64.
