I'm Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for November 19th. The grain commodities aren't doing much of anything, it has been uneventful. Todd Horwitz shares his thoughts from the floor of the CME. Horwitz- "Wednesday's grain trade. Lower unbelievably quite volume. It's almost as if the markets were closed today. Lower prices, we have got corn hovering around the 3.60 level beans hanging in at 8.50 to 8.60, wheat hanging around on the 4.80 level. But again volume looks to be about half of normal. Chicago December Wheat ended yesterday down 4 1/4, at 483 3/4. December corn ended the day down 1/4, at 362.Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein for Nov, were dn 4.25-unch, ranging from 4.8325-5.4000 . Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Nov. were dn 4.50, ranging from 5.5875-5.7375. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were up 3.25-dn 1.75, ranging from 6.1000-6.5000 .Dec. live cattle closed yesterday up 1.95, at 129 3/4. Nov. Feeder cattle were up $1.65, at 175.12 1/2. Nov. class III milk was down 3 cents, at 15-33.
