Welcome to our annual Ranchers Horse Sale in beautiful scenic Eastern Oregon. For the last 22 years, we have offered Premium Bridle Horses, Broke Ranch Horses and Well Started Colts for sale.

Horses are born, raised and trained on ranches to making them well rounded ranch horses to be used in cattle work, performance events such as roping, cutting, team penning, trail riding as numerous other performance events and general ranch work.  These ranch horses come from well know foundation bred quarter horses making them quality bred using horses to suit your needs. I talked with Ethan Bentz: " The sale will be on the first Saturday in June which this year, it lands on the fourth. My dad and my uncle Jim started the sale 22 years ago. My dad passed away last year so right now I put the sale on with my mother Linda. We usually bring about 10 and then the rest are consigned by ranchers and then guys that raise horses to sell them. We have a clientele of consignors that we trust and put together and we usually have the same ones that come back every year. We are trying to get away from the typical horse sale. We'll tell you everything, good or bad, about the horse. We usually go through resources and screen them enough so that we have a great set of forces put together. This year we will have about 28 bridle horses. Tell me about the kinds of horses you have. Quarter horses that have been trained in the ranch world but then can go as performance horses as far as team roping. We have a few consignors that are in the cutting world but mostly our horses go to ranchers or people that want to team rope and go on with them that way." Average price $7800. Last year's high, $16,000.
