Meet New USPB Meeting Planner Caitlin Mueller

The United States Potato Board's Meeting Planner Caitlin Mueller has been in her role now for nearly six months. She shares about her job.

Mueller: "My responsibilities at the Board include meeting planning for the executive committee meetings as well as the summer, winter and annual meetings. I also assist the Marketing Department with their various meetings throughout the year. I manage the food and beverage planning, the transportation details, audio-visual planning, meeting site selections and hotel contracting. The hotel contracting and negotiations are a big part of what I do."

Mueller, a Colorado-native, came to her USPB role with extensive background and knowledge in the meeting planning and hospitality field.

She continues by sharing what she enjoys most about her role at the USPB

Mueller: "The thing I enjoy the most so far is the staff here and also meeting the growers. I was able to meet quite a few of them at the North Forks meeting. It was really great meeting all of them. I have a lot of enthusiasm for this career field. I like that I work on different projects throughout the day. That no day is ever the same — I look forward to that every day. You have to have flexibility in the job — but it is something that I really enjoy."
