CSU's Ag Day Looking For Volunteers

CSU's Ag Day Looking For Volunteers

Colorado State University's Ag Day on Saturday, September 17th is still looking for some volunteers to help with their 35th annual celebration of Ag Day with the BBQ and tailgating event at Hughes Stadium from 11 to 1:30 p.m. that day before the game against the University of Northern Colorado.

The bbq tickets proceeds go towards Ag Sciences scholarships. If you are interested in volunteering at this event, you can go to agday.agsci.colostate.edu to sign up to volunteer as CSU Ag Day Coordinator Megan Griffith explains

Griffith: "Volunteers that sign up on the website can indicate areas in which they are interested in volunteering in. We do our best to match up their interests to our need. The time for volunteering — they'd need to be onsite there at the Ag Day BBQ area by 9:30 and then they will help their areas get set up for serving. Serving ends at 1:30 then another 15 minutes or so for clean up and then off to game. All Volunteers that sign up on that website will get a bbq ticket to eat and a baseball hat for their service and volunteering."

She adds that volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and she needs any potential volunteers to sign up at the website by this Friday, Sept 2nd.
