Ag in Motion Program Inspires Youth Ag Education

Ag in Motion is a fabulous education program provided by Colorado Farm Bureau. It provides hands-on activities about agriculture for children ages 8 through 12 years old. Colorado Farm Bureau Associate Director of Communications John Dooley explains

Dooley: "Ag in Motion is now 100 percent volunteer-led the Women's Leadership Committee has taken the program under their wing and is using it as a resource for agricultural education as its purpose. Now it is more a volunteer-based led program and allows more members to be more interactive with the program and giving the lessons, and putting the farmer in front of the student."

If you are a Colorado Farm Bureau member interested in using the Ag in Motion trailer at an upcoming event, Dooley says.

Dooley: "So it is still going strong and being booked on a daily basis. Members interested in using the trailer, can contact state employees —either myself or Jayde Van Cleave and we'll schedule it out. You can pick up and take it where ever you want."

He continues with you can find Ag in Motion in the near future.

Dooley: "Ag in Motion trailer will be at the state fair until Sept 6th and then will be at Colorado State University's Ag Day September 19th — that Saturday."
