Promotion Selling E85 Fuel for Just 85 cents

Kum & Go in partnership with Colorado Corn is half way through their series of events drawing attention to ethanol, E85 and Flex-Fuel vehicles and informing consumers of the many benefits of using E85 fuel.
Yesterday was the third in the summer’s series of six weekly promotions near Longmont. Colorado Corn Communications Director Eric Brown shares how these events help consumers become aware of the benefits of using E85 fuel.|
Brown: “You talk to them one on one. Event those who can’t make it — it in the middle of the day from 10 to 2. We’re putting a lot of information out there to promote these events. Dispelling the myths about ethanol that they may have heard at some point or maybe have some uncertainties about it. Just educating people about E85, ethanol and flex-fuel vehicles are all about. Once they learn about it they are on board, they like what it does for their vehicle, it’s clean burning and it is something that supports local and rural communities.”
The remaining events for the Kum & Go’s weekly E85 promotions will be on Tuesday, June 28th in Colorado Springs, July 5th in Wellington and the final one of the summer will happen in Monument on July 12th.
