Colorado Cattlemen's Association Wins Use of New Holland Equipment

The Colorado Cattlemen's Association was recently announced as the winner of the use of a piece of New Holland equipment for their outstanding efforts in recruiting new members to the National Cattlemen's Beef Association.

CCA Executive Vice President Terry Fankhauser says it was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated.

Fankhauser: "So that was welcome. It is a couple of years in a row that we have done a pretty good membership growth coefficient in NCBA. We appreciate their support in return for that."

Fankhauser continues with the plans for the year-lease of the New Holland equipment

Fankhauser: "Well, I think it will become part of our 2016 Convention. One of our biggest fundraiser efforts underway right now is raising dollars for our relocation to the National Western Complex. So I believe we will do a live auction for that tractor lease or baler lease. We've done some live auctions items for the last couple of years and those have worked very well. So we are going to put that up for live auction along with some other things that both benefit the building and our Political Action Committee — but the tractor will be for the building. We'll see if we can raise some money — it is valued at $8,000 for that lease. We'll see if we can get close to that or even exceed it."
