Guidestone's Pumpkin Patch and Harvest Festival

Guidestone's Pumpkin Patch and Harvest Festival

As it feels more and more like autumn, taking your family out to a fall festival can be a great memory maker. Guidestone’s Pumpkin Patch and Harvest Festival will be held at the Hutchinson Ranch on Highway 50 between Salida and Poncha Springs. Guidestone Executive Director Jennifer Visitacion shares more about this fun event happening October 9th through the 11th and why is worth drive to participate.
Visitacion: “Especially if they are coming from outside the region, Salida and Chaffee County is an amazing destination for Colorado families to come and be in the heart of the Rockies and enjoy everything that this area has to offer. Two — the Pumpkin Patch Festival is a great lens into how our community celebrates together. Just with the backdrop of the Collegiate Peaks and at a gorgeous ranch setting that is owned by a family that has been here for seven generations. The festival itself just highlights the beauty of both agriculture in the region and this incredible landscape. It is super fun and a great way to support a non-profit too.”
The money raised will go towards Guidestone’s Farm Hand Educational program as well as general operations of this worthwhile organization. There will be horse-drawn carriage rides with lots of craft, activities and music as well as great food.
