Colorado Hay Directory Now Available

The Colorado Department of Agriculture publishes the Colorado Hay Directory annual to help connect Colorado hay producers with buyers. The 2015 edition of the directory is available to the public now at no cost. Colorado Department of Agriculture Marketing Specialist Wendy White shares
White: “The Colorado Hay Directory is now available. We list producers and brokers of hay that available from Colorado. It is an extremely popular publication and it is a great way to market Colorado hay. We get calls from people around the state and really from around the country looking for Colorado hay. So this is a great way to connect buyers and producers of Colorado hay.”
This 29th edition of the Colorado Hay Directory also features companies that provide hay-related products and services. Categorized by region, each listing includes the type the amount of hay available, bale type and size, whether or not laboratory analysis is available, certified weed free status and identifies organic hay. White adds
White: “In addition to the hay directory we have a lot of hay resources on our website at coloradoagriculture.com.”
Some of those include USDA Hay Market News Report, FSA Hay Net, the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association hay/pasture availability list as well as out of state hay resources.
