Dave Maroon runs an outfitting service out of Gresham, Oregon that he describes as a full-time year-round fishing adventure. He takes people out who are interested in fishing for sturgeon, salmon, steelhead, and walleye.  “ I’m a full-time fishing guide, that’s all I do all year long, almost 200 days a year and I fished all the salmon runs we have up and down the Columbia River and the  Willamette River and some of the other local rivers we have around  Portland, the Sandy River,  do steelhead, all the steelhead runs, oversized sturgeon fishing on the Columbia and Willamette, keeper sturgeon fishing on the Columbia, and I do a little bit of wildlife fishing on the Columbia. I have a 24  foot North Rivers and I also have a 17 foot Willie drift boat that I use on the Sandy River for steelhead and salmon fishing, and generally in the big boat I take 4 guys. That’s for a full day trip, 8 or 9 hours, I take 2 or 3 guys in the drift boat and that is also a full day trip. Everything is provided for you except for what you eat and drink and a fishing license. all we do is go out and catch fish. All the gear, yes. Clean the fish for you at the end of the day, make fillets give you a bag no charge.
