It’s Open Range wrap up, we caught a cattle rustler and the meat industry fights back. I’m Susan Allen stay tuned. Texas cattle rustler Roddy Dean Pippin (sounds more like a rodeo clown name ) turned himself in after he stole over 130 cows during his recent two year rustling spree. The 25 year old many now consider a  western legend walked up the stairs of the Hardeman Country Courthouse and gave himself up. The lure of steeling cattle must have been  stronger than the fear of prison. Pippin served two years for cattle rustling in  2004 and when released continued snuck back  into ranches 25 times for more cattle.  Now he’s as snug as a bug in a jar serving  four years. I’ll say it  until I am blue in the face, the beef industry needs to be agtivists, with a G,  proactive against the anti-meat brigade, Was American Meat Association president and CEO J. Patrick Boyle listening? He recently appeared on Good Morning America explaining the strides the meat   industry has make against E.coli . During the segment six packages of hamburger from a big Seattle  supermarket were taken to an independent testing lab.   Mr. Boyle  articulated why the fact that the lab found meat from at least four different cows in each hamburger patty should not be cause for concern, despite what the anti-beef crowd wants consumers and media  to believe. For his appearance  Mr. Boyle is an agtivis and t it’s a wrap  on Open Range visit us over the weekend online at aginfo.net and I’m Susan Allen
