Highlighting Agriculture. I’m Greg Martin with today’s Fruit Grower Report.

Well it’s the time of year for ag producers all over to put up their machinery and head for the meetin’s. Annette Teraberry with Oregon State University Hermiston Agricultural Research and Extension Center says the 36^th Annual Hermiston Farm Fair & Trade Show will be Wednesday, December 2.

TERABERRY: We should have approximately 50 exhibits and there will be agricultural related seminars that will be offered all three days starting on Wednesday at 8am.

A number of the programs will offer credits that ag producers need to pick up.

TERABERRY: Our Core Program that most people know that they need to take Core to get their pesticide credits. We have a general session on Thursday which will also have some pesticide recertification credits available.

And of course Teraberry says it’s not all business.

TERABERRY: And then going into Thursday evening we have a wonderful event, it’s a social event, a Farm Fair banquet. It’s time to network with those that have participated in Farm Fair and those of the community and that’ll be at Desert River Inn starting at 6pm.
