What a technological age we’ve become. I’ll never forget the story of bodybuilder.com where a guy who made health supplements bought the rights to that name and has made quite a business out of providing health supplements to guess whom…body builders. Well supplements don’t stop with people. PerforMix Nutrition Systems, just announced the acquisition of Provender Nutrition Resources. PerforMix, is an Agri Beef company, and manufactures high-quality liquid feed supplements for livestock. They’ve been a provider of nutritional products and services to the beef and dairy industries for over 25 years with locations in Nampa, Idaho and Moses Lake, Washington.  Provender is a manufacturer of high-quality dry supplements for livestock located in Fruitland, Idaho.  Business will continue under both business names using existing staff.

Tim Bodine, President of PerforMix, explains supplement use in livestock: “We provide the nutrients that the animals need that are deficient in their base diet.”
